SUMMARY

The essential idea of cloud computing is that computational resources, such as storage, processing and bandwidth, are available on demand and you only pay for used time. McCloud is the easiest and quickest way to develop Monte Carlo (MC) simulations in the cloud, with many advantages to your users:

1) Increases the number of samples and, consequently, the precision of simulations with low cost;
2) Eliminates the initial investments in infrastructure and their startup time;
3) Allows simulations written in different technologies, e.g., MatLab, C#, R, C, and others;
4) Minimal changes to the code they are used in traditional simulations;
5) Nearly unlimited capacity to process complex simulations;
6) Calculation time proportional to the volume of resources spent;
7) Final users doesn´t need to understand specifics of cloud;
8) Interoperability with other applications out of cloud (simulation alone goes to the cloud);
9) Useful in a large range of problems and areas.
